Stratford Star League
Stratford Area Recreation (STAR) Men’s Basketball League is a division of STAR. Star League, as it’s most commonly known, has been active since 1975 and is by far the largest men’s basketball league in the area. During the 2011-2012 season we are hosting 15 teams – 6 from Stratford, 5 from Marshfield, 1 from Athens, 1 from Auburndale, 1 from Colby, and 1 from Rozellville.
Since the club’s inception we have had hundreds of area athletes from a number of communities throughout central Wisconsin participate in recreational basketball. Games are played on Sunday evenings starting in late October and ending in early April. The club has hosted Holiday Tournaments, Spring Tournaments and a highly competitive league with much success.
